The US has declared over 20 species of animals extinct... after years of exhaustive research. This list includes 8 freshwater mussels, 2 fish, a bat, a plant, and 11 different kinds of birds. Including the ivory billed woodpecker. Debbie tries to get Dave to be more concerned about the extinct animals.

The Senate will be voting this morning on the continuing resolution that will keep the government from shutting down. It looks like it will pass the Senate. Rep. John Curtis joins us where he gets to vote on this matter.
