Utah has reached Gov. Cox's goal of 70% of vaccinated residents 18 years old and up! The Utah Department of Health reported 65.2% of Utah adults had received at least one dose of the Covid shot as of the 4th of July. Cox said that number doesn't take into account federally administered doses.

A June study from the American Enterprise Institute found that 15 percent of adults have ended a friendship over politics. Just over half of Republicans, 53 percent, said they have at least some friends who are Democrats, AEI found, while about a third of Democrats (32 percent) said they have at least some Republican friends.

This is a HUGE problem because SUU is returning to in-person classes this fall and there's no space available for them! It looks like they would have to try their luck down in St. George, which would be an hour commute!
