If your child vapes, there's a chance they'll stop if we slap a big tax on vape sales in Utah. The American Heart Association wants lawmakers to significantly increase the tax. They've sent us intriguing data to show it'll curb kids' vape appetite. Also, a unique approach to putting school-aged kids on trial caught our attention. Some Utah cities have formed peer courts - where the kids plead their case before a panel of kids.

Former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg will make his first debate appearance tomorrow night in Las Vegas. He'll be in Utah Thursday, and his poll numbers are skyrocketing. Elections analysis site FiveThirtyEight took an average of all the latest national polls this morning... and Michael Bloomberg now sits in SECOND. Lauren Littlefield, state director over Utah for the Bloomberg campaign, joins the show.

Lawmakers are back on Utah's Capitol Hill today after their Presidents Day holiday, and they've got a big week. Will they have another surplus? And what will happen with taxes? There are 18 working days left in the session. We'll ask Speaker Brad Wilson what's in store.

Big news this morning for the Boy Scouts - the national organization is filing for bankruptcy amid a storm of sexual abuse allegations and declining membership. Our own Frank Mueller offers his perspective as a scout troop leader.

So far, no others have official plans to stop by ahead of Super Tuesday.

Rep. Stephanie Pitcher wants to start an "infants at work" program within the state health department that would allow new parents to bring their baby to work with them. Why? Childcare is expensive and difficult to find. If the pilot program works, she's looking at possibly expanding the program across the state, and someday expand it in the private sector, too.
