Utah's elections weren't without hiccups this year. From mail-in voting delays in Southern Utah to problems with in-person voting in Utah County. Now, Utah lawmakers are putting together plans to overhaul the system next year, which could mean big changes to mail-in voting. Rusty Cannon, co-host of Inside Sources, joins the show to discuss what these changes mean for the future of voting in Utah. 

Once a sleepy town on the east shore of Utah lake, Vineyard's population exploded 7,054% from 2013 to 2022. Among the many changes this increase in population has created, a lack of clear rules and policing of street parking is an issue that community members are rallying around. She's okay, and has since been returned to her home, but was missing for a total of 9 hours. The suspect has been taken into custody without incident and Lt. Andrew Smith with the Bountiful Police Department joins the show to discuss what happened and how families can keep children safe online. Dave has used a method to keep his kids safe online that, for some, might seem like a breach of privacy. Listeners are invited to call in with their thoughts.

Granite School District implemented a "bell to bell" cell phone ban at the beginning of the 2024-25 school year, and Dave and Debby check in with school counselor and Licensed Clinical Social Worker Jessica Mertlich, who shares some firsthand insight into the results of the ban experiment. Good news: things seem to be going well! 

A Salt Lake City resident thought he was doing his part when he replaced his front lawn with water-saving artificial grass. But now the city is telling him the turf is against city code and must go, or it will cost him. Tony Hughes, who uses a wheelchair, says the turf has the additional benefit of allowing him to navigate his own front yard. D2 speak with KSL Reporter Sloane Schrage, who worked on the story, about the details, and hear from listeners with their thoughts on yard regulation.  

President Elect Donald Trump met with the president of Argentina, Javier Milei at Mar-a-Lago. Milei took office 11 months ago and one of the first things he did was make massive spending cuts to help with the country's inflation crisis. Inside Sources co-host Rusty Cannon joins Dave and Debbie to discuss the possible impact this meeting could have on jobs in the US if Trump takes a similar stance.
