BYU Cougars remain undefeated after winning the rivalry match vs. The Utah Utes this weekend. Emotions ran high and Utah's Athletic Director, Mike Harlan, drew a fine from the Big12 conference after making comments about the officiating of the game. KSL NewsRadio Reporter Adam Small has been following the story and talks with D2 about what's next for Utah's program. Arches National Park officials turned to a seasonal timed-entry program in 2022 after record-breaking visitation during the prior year brought park entry to a halt many times. Timed entry has been well received by park visitors, and is expected to return this upcoming year with one big change... timed entry will not be enforced from July 7 and Aug. 26, 2025, between Independence and memorial day weekends. Utah Attorney General-elect Derek Brown has announced he has called upon more than 40 people to help advise his transition to the office of AG. There are attorneys, politicians, authors, law enforcement and business experts on the list from both sides of the aisle. Derek Brown joins Dave and Debbie to discuss his intentions for his transition, and how he hopes working with such a diverse group of people can promote transparency and restore trust in the AG's office.

Ogden Mayor Ben Nadolski joins the show to explain why he is now rolling back a previously announced installation of paid parking in downtown Ogden. Nadolski said the decision came down to maintaining a good relationship with downtown businesses. D2 share their experiences with frustrating parking experiences in downtown SLC, and takes calls from listeners.

 

We now know It was a natural gas leak that caused a home explosion in South Jordan this week.. Thursday authorities confirmed a 15 year old Bingham High School Student was killed. 43 monkeys are on the loose in South Carolina after they escaped from a research facility on Wednesday night. Officials are telling people to keep their windows closed and call 911 if they see anything. Dave and Debbie discuss what is happening with the monkeys and speak to their own interactions with nature.
