Bambi is a Cork native who resides in London and has had one of her tracks played 3 times on the BBC. Comedian and former member of CCCahoots Tadhg Hickey took time away from his rehearsal of the John B Keane play - Letters Of A Country Postman to talk up the merits of the show. Despite his renowned comedic background he plays a straight role as Postman Mocky Fondoo.It tells the tale of how the Postman is a pivotal part of what glues the community together and as well as being the only person that some people could speak to all day. It was wrote in 1975 however there's still a number of themes that apply to the modern day. The play also stars; Accordionist Danny O' Mahony as well as Madi O'Carroll and Chloe O' Reilly who take on numerous roles through out. Christine and Damien are both from Garryvoe in East Cork. 20 year old Damien has Down Syndrome he will be one of the many people benefitting from the funds collected in this years Tour De Munster in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland's Munster Branches.Christine will be participating in in the 600 km 4 day charity cycle this year. She is new to cycling and only starting training in March.To date the event has raised 4 million and they are hoping to raise more with your generosity.Allowing projects such as projects such as "Field Of Dreams" (a horticultural site based in Curraheen) to be created. Bunny chats to Dave about how suicide impacts those left behind after the death of their loved ones. The event is aimed at raising awareness of this matter, in the form of the Cuddle Run. Bunny will be hopping on his son Cian's bike, a side from raising awareness the event is to raise some much needed funding for a centre that is functioning but a slightly run down facility they have in Middleton. They're looking to improve it and enhance the services they can provide such as : Mindfulness, bereavement support groups as well as any other systems that may be needed. This all came about when Bunny came to the realisation that there were no services available for Bunny with he was grieving his son Cian's death in 2009.For more info on the event visit: The Midleton Hub
