  • Softy and Dick H1 - Who would you bring back to the Hawks? / Al Michaels to ESPN? It might happen / Greatest TV sports themes
Later in the show, Michael-Shawn Dugar from The Athletic will join the show. He's put together a list of five available former Seahawks that the team should at least consider bringing back. Yesterday, we heard that Richard Sherman could be among the players available. So, of everyone that could reasonably be brought back into the fold, who would you select? ESPN could be working on a deal to bring Al Michaels over from NBC. Finally, a Monday Night shakeup! Fox Sports One really needs to stop using Round Ball Rock. It's one of the greatest TV sports themes of all time, but it just reminds us of the 1990's NBA.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Yoan Moncada signs new deal with the White Sox. ...Who? / Mike DeCourcy on college basketball / Textimonials: Spoilers
One of the top stories in baseball; Yoah Moncada reaches a five-year $70 million extension with the White Sox. That's great and all, but who is Yoan Moncada? If you didn't know, he is one of the big up-and-coming stars in baseball, and we didn't know either. Baseball has fallen so far off our radar, and a lot of it locally is of course the pro team that hasn't been to the playoffs in 20 years, but even across the country, the sport doesn't seem to be getting much attention. Mike DeCourcy looks at all things college basketball with Selection Sunday just over a week away. Softy gets blasted for a Star Wars Episode IX spoiler on Textimonials.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Ways NFL teams can avoid disaster / Michael-Shawn Dugar: Ex-Hawks the team should look at / Greg Olsen expectations
As the league year is about to begin, and free agency kicks into high gear in just a matter of weeks, we go through Sheil Kapadia's article on nine ways NFL teams can avoid free agency disaster. There are lots of former Seahawk free agents out there this year. Should the team look at bringing any of them back? Michael-Shawn Dugar has a list of five. What are our expectations for Greg Olsen? Peyton Manning is reportedly slated to join Al Michaels for Monday Night Football if ESPN gets its way. He's been great in commercials; can he do as well as a broadcaster?

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Washington in an expanded Big 12? / Jimmy Graham leaving Green Bay / Collier: Raise the bar / Grant Cohn on the 49ers
Could Washington, along with five other Pac-12 schools leave the Pac-12 to join an expanded Big 12. The Big 12 has ten teams, which would make this a large 16 team conference and virtually guarantee the winner of the conference would make the football Final Four, but could even open up the door for a second place team to make it as well. Jimmy Graham is going to be a free agent. We're still frustrated by how he was used here in Seattle. He was never a blocking tight end, yet that's how he was often used. LJ Collier isn't a bust yet, but he's trending in that direction. The Hawks are going to need him to raise the bar next season. Grant Cohn of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat weighs in on the 49ers. Is Brady really going to end up in Santa Clara?

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Extend an olive branch to Richard Sherman? / Petros Papadakis: Coronavirus, USC, & Trey Adams / Textimonials
Grant Cohn mentioned that Richard Sherman may not be back with the 49ers in 2020. Should the Seahawks at least consider extending an olive branch and bringing Sherman back to help out the younger players? Would he even accept it? Petros isn't happy about LA considering cancelling sporting events in the wake of the coronavirus. What about USC threatening to leave the Pac-12? Textimonials react to the first two hours of the show at 49451.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Rush to judgment: Sanders jersey / Andy Staples on the Big 12 expansion idea / You Don't Know Dick! / Mike Hopkins
Social media erupted recently as Garth Brooks posted a picture of himself wearing a Barry Sanders jersey, apparently causing people to think he was endorsing presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Twitter, Facebook, etc. have a positive side, but it's seemingly allowed stupid people to become even stupider. Could the Big 12 grab a bunch of Pac-12 schools to make a super conference? Andy Staples proposes the idea. It's the first time we've played You Don't Know Dick since last summer. Mike Hopkins talks all things Husky basketball before his team's trip to the desert.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Paying for the sins of the father / Coronavirus and sporting events / Tom Brady to the Niners?
A couple of weeks ago we talked about paying for the sins of the father: Does the current Mariners leadership deserve criticism for the mistakes of previous leadership groups? The same question comes up today as we wonder if we can hold Howard Schultz's mistakes against his son. The coronavirus is spreading around the world, and here in Seattle. Are you concerned about getting sick, and will it prevent you from going to sporting events? Tom Brady could possibly be joining the 49ers. Would we rather face him or Jimmy G next season?

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Beast Mode to speak at Princeton / Jon Wilner: Huskies to come in fourth? / Textimonials
Marshawn Lynch may be speaking at Princeton. Yes really. Most of us are ecstatic to see that man speak under any circumstances. Who else would you really like to see speak at a setting like this? Are the Dawgs really going ot finish behind the Oregon State Beavers next season? Jon Wilner thinks so. He explains. Textimonials react to the first two hours of the show at 49451.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Definition of loyalty / Corey Brock talks Mariners baseball / Weekly Weigh In / Brian Schmetzer on the Sounders
How supportive should Mariners fans have to be while the team continues to lose? Are you a loyal fan if you aren't going to games? What about not watching them? One man who is paying attention to what happening with the M's is The Athletic's Crey Brock. What can we expect from Mallex Smith? Will Kikuchi be a part of the rebuilt Mariners? When can we expect to see Jarred Kelenic? Give us a topic, and we'll weigh in on it. It's the Weekly Weigh In. Sounders head coach Brian Schmetzer is back as MLS season gets underway. Jordan Morris is off to a great start, plus we learn about Joao Paulo, and other changes for 2020.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Softy is back / Dawgs lose to WSU / Jacob Eason's interview / John Canzano: Putting the Pac-12 on notice
Softy has made his return from Europe ready to get back to talking sports, just in time to see the Huskies fall to WSU on Friday. What happened to this basketball team? Jacob Eason's interview didn't go so well according to some. It might just be his personality, but an agent or someone needs to get him to come out of his shell. USC's Mike Bohn leaves the door open for a potential exit from the Pac-12. It's not very likely, but it does put he conference on notice, and John Canzano says Oregon should do the same. He joins the show to explain.
