  • Softy and Dick H1 - Leach looking again / Is this our last VMAC show? / Luke Willson & Ugo Amadi / Space Needle raising the 12 flag
It feels like we have this conversation every year but, Mike Leach is reportedly looking at another SEC job. This time, it's Mississippi State that's getting the interest. Do Cougar fans ever get tired of having a coach that seems to want to bolt for the door after every season? We're out at the VMAC this afternoon, and it could be our last show here for the year. Of course, if the Hawks win, we'll be right back here next week. So, what are the chances that the Hawks win and we get another opportunity next week? As we gear up for Green Bay, we check in with several players to get their thoughts on the upcoming game; it's Luke Willson and Ugo Amadi on Dick and Dave in the Locker Room. Ahead of the divisional round against Green Bay, the Space Needle will fly the 12 flag, and our own Cliff Avril will be there to raise it on Friday morning. Some may wonder why we don't just eave a flag up there all year long, but then we wouldn't have cool moments like this. It's been awesome to see traditions develop around this team over the years.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Beast Quake: Nine years later / Petros Papadakis: Washington OC job, Ed Orgeron / Textimonials
One of the most memorable moments in Seattle sports history took place nine years ago today, and to remember it, we've found four play-by-play calls of Marshawn Lynch's Beast Quake that you've probably never heard before. t's our first chance to hear from Petros Papadakis in a few weeks. So it loos like Kellen Moore is going to stay in Dallas. Where does that leave the Dawgs in their offensive coordinator search? Softy also asks Petros about Ed Orgeron's appearance on his show yesterday, mostly just so we can hear his impression. Textimonials react to the show at 49451.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Rick Neuheisel: UW OC search, Leach, & LSU v. Clemson / Kevin Harlan on everything NFL / Shaquill & Shaquem Griffin
So who is the right fit for the Washington offensive coordinator job? We ask Rick Neuheisel about that, plus thoughts on the Mississippi State job, and a preview of the BCS Championship. Kevin Harlan talks all things football, including Seattle's game against Green Bay on Sunday. Dick Fain has a chance to sit down with the Griffin Brothers, Shaquill and Shaquem today at the VMAC.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Who should have an all world game? / How much of a chance do they have? / Kellen Moore and Dallas
We start off the show by asking which Seahawk (aside from Russell Wilson) you want to see have an all world game against Green Bay on Sunday? We've gotten a lot of votes for D. K Metcalf, Marshawn Lynch, but not many for Jadeveon Clowney. That's a little surprising because he seems like the obvious choice. If he can tear through guys like he did in that Monday night game in San Francisco, our chances of stopping their offense improve greatly. We asked a couple of weeks ago if this Seahawks season was already a success. Well now we've won a playoff game, so how many would see the 2019 season as a success if we didn't make it any further? It's not as though the talent level is what it was in 2013-2014, and the injuries have really stacked up, but there have been some bright spots on the offense in particular. So can we get the win over Green Bay? Mike Garafolo is reporting that Kellen Moore may be staying in Dallas. With his connections here in Washington, and the name recognition he's gained from his time with Dallas, he seemed like he'd be a logical pick. Maybe there's still some convincing that can be done to get him to take the UW offensive coordinator job.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Retiring Isaiah Stewart's number: Will it happen? / Jon Wilner on the Washington OC search / Textimonials
While watching Isaiah Stewart play over the weekend, Dick and his son talked about the potential for retiring his number. He will undoubtedly have the best single season of any Husky basketball player ever, but he also almost certainly will not be here a year from now. So should a one-and-done have his number retired? Kellen Moore is reportedly thinking about staying with the Cowboys as their offensive coordinator, so where does that leave Washington in their OC search? We go to the expert on all things Pac-12, the San Jose Mercury News' Jon Wilner gives us the latest, plus news and reaction on everything happening throughout the conference. Textimonials come in at 49451 reacting to the first two hours of the show.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Walter Jones on the Hawks O-Line / Mike Florio: Hoof Hearted / Weekly Weigh In / Mike Hopkins on Husky hoops
How did the Seahawks' makeshift offensive line perform against the Eagles on Sunday? We turn to the expert, Hall of Famer Welter Jones for his thoughts on that, plus playing at Lambeau, Clowney playing for his next contract, and more. Mike Florio gives us a new sound byte. Oh right, and he also discusses the latest news from around the NFL; the Cowboys coaching situation, the hit from Clowney, the Hawks against Green Bay, and more. It's your chance to get the show's reaction to all things sports and beyond on our Weekly Weigh In sponsored by 30/10 Weigh Loss for Life. It's been a week full of ups and downs for the Washington basketball team. There's no better person to react than the head coach, Mike Hopkins.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Hawks beat Philly 17-9 ...again / Russell Wilson is the reason we're here, Metcalf: Unstoppable / Will Brinson
The Seahawks beat the Eagles 17-9, and if those numbers sound familiar, it's because it's the exact score of the game between these two teams just a little over a month ago. He's been the story so many times over the past eight seasons, and once again, #3 is the reason we're here, with well over 300 yards passing, and the most rushing yards by far. While the rest of the country complains about the supposedly-dirty hit by Jadeveon Clowney, they overlook players like D. K. Metcalf who proved to be an unstoppable receiver in this game. Will Brinson of CBS Sports claimed on the Pick Six podcast that if the Eagles had been healthy, they would have stomped all over the Seahawks. Does he realize the Hawks also suffered a ton of injuries? He joins the show ot explain himself.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Was the Clowney hit intentional? / Opponent Audio Recap: Eagles / Textimonials
The national narrative following yesterday's game focuses almost entirely on the hit on Wentz, and whether or not it was intentional. There's a reason why helmet-to-helmet hits are being pushed out of the game, and a flag on Clowney may have been completely justified, but there is no evidence in the play, or in Clowney's past, to suggest that he's a dirty player who would make a play like that on purpose. It's the moment you've been waiting for, re-living the Hawks win, only this time through the anger and frustration of the opposing team's radio call. This time, it's Merrill Reese and Mike Quick calling the Eagles loss. Textimonials react to everything we've talked about in the first two hours of today's show.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Hugh Millen's analysis of the Seahawks win over Philly / Wild card weekend radio calls / Shutting down Aaron Rodgers
The man who celebrated the drafting of D. K. Metcalf all those months ago, Hugh Millen joins us with thoughts on yesterday's game, including Metcalf's playoff debut, and more. Last hour was the Opponent Audio Recap, this hour, a whole host of other radio calls from this weekend's playoff games. The Packers have struggled the most against two defenses led by former Pete Carroll staffers. Could the Hawks hold the secret to stopping Green Bay's offense? After a bad loss on Thursday, the Dawgs came back and stomped USC, winning by 32 points. Obviously, they looked much better.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Hawks and Eagles: Back-and-forth / In the Locker Room with Cody Barton and Jacob Hollister / Huskies: A bad loss
Finally, we're just two days away from this playoff game against the Eagles. Both teams are seriously banged up, although there is some good news for the Hawks as it appears thatonly Malik Turner and Duane Brown are likely to miss Sunday (aside from guys who are out for the rest of the year). The biggest question mark on the Eagles side is, will Zach Ertz play? There has been so much back-and-forth when looking at this game. Every time you think the Hawks have an advantage, there's a "yeah but..." that pops up. We just need to get to Sunday so we can finally see what happens. On today's Dick and Dave in the Locker Room, we caught up with Cody Barton, and tight end Jacob Hollister. Yesterday, we said the Huskies needed to win these first two conference games. Well, they lost. The good news is Oregon also lost a conference game last night, and they've had bad losses in-conference before, but this wasn't a good way to start this part of the season.
