  • Softy and Dick H2 - What did we watch last night? / Softy knows who is to blame / Jon Wilner on the Dawgs and Pac-12 / Textimonials
What did we watch last night? We knew the team was rebuilding, and we knew guys were out, but we expected that mostly from the defense, not the offense. Russell Wilson's nearing a new contract, but are we really going to pay him top dollar if he's playing like this. He is the one piece that hasn't changed and he's the one looking shaky. Softy doesn't understand why more of the blame doesn't fall on Pete Carroll. Jon Wilner joins us every Tuesday to discuss Pac-12 football powered by Simply Seattle. Is the Dawgs' passing game good enough to help the Dawgs run the table? Was it the Husky defense, or is Utah's offense just that bad? Textimonials react to last night's game.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Walter Jones on the Hawks and the Hall of Fame boycott / Mike Florio's optimistic take / Vent Line / Tuesdays with Tod
Former Seahawks LT, Hall of Famer Walter Jones talks about what he saw in last night's game, and expresses his opinion of a Hall of Fame boycott by some of the other more senior members. ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio is more optimistic than most when it comes to the Hawks, even after last night's game. Listeners got out their frustration during the game Monday Night. We play you the Highlights. Tod Leiweke is joined by minority owner Ted Ackerley as he updates us on the the latest in the effort to bring an NHL franchise to Seattle.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Seahawks expectations against Chicago / Can Browning take the Dawgs all the way? / Kurt Warner talks Hawks vs. Bears
The Hawks are just hours away from facing off against Chicago on Monday Night Football at Soldier Field. On top of all of the other concerns surrounding the team, quite a few key guys are not playing this week. The question, as it is every week, is do they have the ability to beat the Bears despite all the forces working against them? The Dawgs did well this weekend against the Utes, but there are still questions around Jake Browning. Do you think he has what it takes to take the team all the way, or at least to a Rose Bowl win? We may have to hope for a 1999 Ravens situation. Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner breaks down Russell Wilson's play in Denver as he prepares to join Kevin Harlan on the call for tonight's game for Westwood One.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Fact or Fiction / Ian Furness, live from Chicago / Joel Klatt on Jake Browning and the Dawgs / Textimonials
We announce the second $1,000 winner, and Softy makes the first pick of the week on Fact or Fiction. KJR's 1-3pm host Ian Furness joins us live from Chicago as he prepares for the pre-game show on Q13 Fox. How much will the long list of injuries hurt the Hawks in tonight's game? Fox Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt discusses targeting calls, his thoughts on Jake Browning, and a look ahead to this Saturday's game vs. Arizona State. Textimonials express concern over Browning, and the Hawks.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Who's a part of the next Seahawk playoff team? /Chris Petersen press conference / Brian Schmetzer, coach of the Sounders
It's no secret that the Hawks are expected to take a step back this year. In past years, anything less than an NFC Championship was a disappointment. What constitutes success for the season? Softy maintains that building the team up for future seasons constitutes success. It might take a couple of years to truly know what this season actually meant. How many guys who are on the team right now will be on the next playoff team? Not too many rookies are showing us much, but it is early. UW head coach Chris Petersen sits down with the media as he does every Mnoday to talk about the team's performance over the weekend. Sounders head coach Brian Schmetzer on winning their ninth game in a row, taking back the Cascadia Cup, and the team's new expectations now that they're thriving.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Mychal Kendricks signed by the Hawks / Should they have signed him? / Bill Riley, voice of the Utes
The Seahawks have signed linebacker Mychal Kendricks. Kendricks will be likely headed to jail after this season for insider trading. He has been cleared to play. Was it the right move for the Hawks to acquire a player who has been convicted of a crime, albeit a non-violent one, or is it bad form by the team? We take listener responses. Bill Riley, play-by-play voice of the Utah Utes, joins the show to talk about what he's seen from the team in advance of tomorrow's game against the Dawgs.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Fact or Fiction / Marcus Peters' "Marshawn tribute" / Corey Brock on the M's / Jimmy Lake talks Dawgs / Textimonials
It's the final Fact or Fiction pick of the week, and Softy is absolutely confident this one is good. Marcus Peters grabbed his crotch as a tribute to Marshawn Lynch on Monday night. Some people don't have a problem with this, but what would you say if your kid did this on the field? With the season all but over now, Corey Brock looks at some of the M's players who we've still got serious questions about. Jimmy Lake talks about what he learned from his guys' performance in the North Dakota game. Textimonials respond to Mychal Kendricks and Marcus Peters.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Sue Bird celebrates another Storm championship / Bob Rondeau on the Dawgs / Mychal Kendricks controversy / Ikaika Malloe
Sue Bird joins the show to celebrate her third WNBA Championship with the Seattle Storm. Bob Rondeau talks about what he saw from the Dawgs last week against North Dakota, his expectations for the game vs. Utah, and what it was like to watch the game from the stands for the first time in decades. Everyone on ESPN's Around the Horn had something to say about the Mychal Kendricks controversy. Cliff Avril had thoughts on Kendricks taking his old number as well. Ikaika Malloe evaluates the performance of the Dawgs defense in the North Dakota game.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - M's need to develop talent / Definition of Seahawks success / Lee Sterling's college and NFL picks
We won't spend too much time talking about the M's because the season is essentially over. It's possible that they won't even make it to .500. There's a reason this franchise hasn't made the playoffs in 17 years; the team doesn't develop truly great talent. The last great hitter to come up through the system was Alex Rodriguez, and he didn't need all that much development. For the last few years, the definition of success for the Seahawks has been a Super Bowl victory. Anything less has been a disappointment. In 2018, expectations are a little lower. So what's the definition of success this year? Softy says it's developing players that can be re-signed. Paramount Sports' Lee Sterling has your picks for this weekend's college football and NFL games.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Fact or Fiction / Mike Holmgren talks Seahawks football / Chris Petersen's weekly update / Congratulations Seattle Storm
It's Dick Fain's pick on today's Fact or Fiction, and he's taking Boise State. Mike Holmgren joins us from the Central Bar and Restaurant in Bellevue. He gives us his takeaways following the season opener in Denver, evaluates Russell Wilson's performance, explains how he'd handle the force that is Khalil Mack, and gives us his game plan for the Chicago game on Monday night. Softy chats with Chris Petersen ahead of the Utah game this Saturday. Congratulations to the Seattle Storm on their third WNBA championship. If there was ever any question before, Sue Bird now for sure deserves a place on the Mt. Rushmore of Seattle sports.
