  • Softy and Dick H1 - Donald Watts co-hosting with Dick Fain / Huskies lose again! / Jim Trotter: Will we see a CBA deal?
Donald Watts steps in to co-host with Dick Fain as Softy is still traveling around the world. It's another great day to have him in as we can discuss a not-so-great Husky basketball team that lost yet again last night. How can a team with this much talent only have two conference wins this late in the season? What is this team missing? It looked like the CBA might be close to a done deal, but some outspoken players are coming out against it. How close are we do a deal, and what happens if it isn't done by the new league year? We find out from the NFL Network's Jim Trotter.

This week, Kevin Garnett talking about Gary Payton, Frank Caliendo as Bill Walton talking to Bill Walton, and more sign-stealing reaction. Textimonials react to the first two hours of the show at 49451.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Matt McKay on NBA scouting / Dawg fans, are you in panic mode? / Stats are for Losers
Matt McKay of Basketball Travelers co-hosts a podcast with Donald Watts. He joins the show to talk NBA recruiting. How will Isaiah Stewart and Jaden McDaniels translate to the pro level? It's obviously been a frustrating season for the Dawgs, but are you as a Husky fan in panic mode? There are plenty of reasons to be optimistic long term. On Stats are for Losers, some college basketball stats you probably weren't aware of, including an incredible run by some mid majors, and the biggest loss ever by Coach K.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Jacson Bevens filling in / NFL is expanding the playoffs / Big Papi calls Fiers a snitch / To plunk, or not?
Softy is still out. Jacson Bevens is co-hosting this afternoon. The NFL will be expanding its playoff format to include a seventh team per conference. More football is a good thing, but there will be times when mediocre teams get in.There have been plenty of examples in recent years where 8-8 teams that didn't look all that spectacular would have made the 7th spot. The Astros saga just won't go away, and it probably won't anytime soon. The latest: Big Papi has now called Mike Fiers a snitch for saying something about the sign-stealing procedure. No one is a fan of someone ratting out heir buddies for some small thing, but this is a big deal that has angered a lot of players. How many Astros are getting hit by pitches this year? No one wants to see anyone end up in the hospital, but a little retribution is likely. It's certainly going to get people to tune in when the Astros are on TV.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Mariners prospect Evan White / Mike DeCourcy on all things college basketball / Textimonials

Mike DeCourcy of The Sporting News covers all things college basketball, from the UW's chances at a Pac-12 tournament run, to under the radar teams to watch for n the tournament. Textimonials react to the first two hours of the show.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - If you could fire one commissioner...? / Step one was a success. Now on to step two / Petros Papadakis / Bucky Jacobsen
The sun is shining, so we figured we would cut out early today (also we've got a college basketball game airing at 4). Dick asks, if you could fire one commissioner, who would it be? Given this audience, and this part of the country, the answer might not be too surprising. We've been on board for the Mariners rebuild, and step one, tearing the whole thing down and filling up the farm system, has been a success. Now it's time to find out which of these prospects can play, and signing the big names to fill the gaps when needed. Is it guaranteed to work? No, but so far we're on the right track. Petros Papadakis joins Dick to talk all things sports, plus ouzo... Bucky Jacobsen shares his thoughts on the interview with John Stanton earlier this morning.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - Spencer Hawes co-hosting with Dick Fain / Greg Olsen signs with the Seahawks / Recruiting and one-and-dones
As Softy continues his vacation, a revolving door of guest co-hosts join the show with Dick Fain. Today, Spencer Hawes sits in. News just out that the Seahawks have come to a deal with Greg Olsen; a one-year contract worth $7 million, $5.5 million guaranteed. Olsen is older, but is likely still an added asset to the tight end position. This may be exactly the type of piece Wilson is looking for. An interesting stat was uncovered about first-round picks out of UW and appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Dick asks Spencer if maybe Mike Hopkins should stop focusing on one-and-dones, or if that could damage recruiting in the future.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Chuck Powell on the Astros, Rob Manfred, and player backlash / Jon Wilner on UW basketball & Larry Scott / Textimonials
All this week, Chuck and Buck are down in Peoria as the M's kick off Spring Training. Today, we get Chuck Powell's thoughts on the Astros sign stealing scandal, Rob Manfred's response, and the player backlash around the league. The Huskies unexpectedly find themselves in last place, but does that say more about Washington, or about the conference. We ask The Mercury News' Jon Wilner. Textimonials react to the first two hours of the show at 49451.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Sharon Thorsland on Greg Olsen / Corey Brock from Spring Training / Could the Hawks grab another Diggs?
Earlier this afternoon, it was announced that Greg Olsen would be signing a one-year $7 million deal with $5.5 million guaranteed. So, can he still play, and if so, why did Carolina let him go? We find out from Panthers sideline reporter Sharon Thorsland. Corey Brock from The Athletic previews all things Spring Training, and what to expect during the 2020 Mariners season. Stefon Diggs has removed all things Vikings-related from his social media. Could this mean the end of his time in Minnesota, and more importantly, could he be worth a look by Seattle?
