  • Softy and Dick H2 - Mike Holmgren should be in the Hall of Fame / Petros Papadakis: Orgeron, Rolovich, and Donovan / Textimonials
Once again, Mike Holmgren is not given the opportunity to join the Hall of Fame, and it's wrong. Under every metric, Holmgren more than qualifies. Does it all just come down to not being able to do something with him on TV? Petros Papadakis joins the show with thoughts on the LSU Tigers and Ed Orgeron winning the National Championship, plus thoughts on new coaching hires at UW and WSU. Textimonials react to the first two hours of the show at 49451.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Should the Hawks have tried to keep Sherman? / Kevin Harlan: Are the Hawks ascending? / UW & grad transfers
The 49ers have had a huge rebound this season, and it's led them all the way to the NFC Championship. There's no doubt that Richard Sherman has been a big part of their success. Should the Seahawks have made an effort to re-sign him two years ago? We take your calls. Kevin Harlan has had a chance to see the Seahawks play a few times this season, including last weekend in Green Bay. So, does he think the team is ascending or descending? There's a reason why we haven't seen any grad transfers at Washington. How easy would it be to get the administration to change things?

  • Softy and Dick H1 - LSU wins national championship / Would you trade places with Astros fans? / Terry Blount reacts
LSU wins the college football national championship last night, led by quarterback Joe Burrow completing 64 percent of his passes, by far his worst percentage all season, and yet he and that offense looked unstoppable. Trevor Lawrence did not look great, but he doesn't deserve the criticism he's receiving today. It's yet another year when the elite of college football make it to the top while everyone else falls short. Only eleven teams in the last six years have made the College Football Playoff. Only six teams have won games, and only four have won a title. For the vast majority of college football teams, there is no road to the playoffs. Punishment has come down for the Houston Astros in relation to the sign stealing scandal. The manager and GM have been suspended, and then immediately released, draft picks have been lost, and a fine has ben issued. Knowing how this has all worked out for Houston, would you take the same deal assuming you didn't know the M's were cheating until after the World Series win? Lifelong Houston Astros fan Terry Blount calls into the show to react to the punishment handed down.

  • Softy and Dick H2 - Hazing allegations at Penn State / Jon Wilner on WSU's new coach, Nick Rolovich / Textimonials
A former football player at Penn State has sued the university, and James Franklin, after alleged violent hazing. After all the school went through following the Jerry Sandusky situation, one would imagine that effort would be made to avoid any incidents like the ones being alleged. Jon Wilner joins the show to discuss the hiring of WSU's new head coach, Nick Rolovich, plus how are the Dawgs going to fair on the court without Quade Green? Textimonials react to the first two hours of the show at 49451.

  • Softy and Dick H3 - Walter Jones on the Hawks game / Mike Florio on all things NFL / Weekly Weigh In / Russ with Ian Furness
After one final Seahawks game, we get the opinions of Hall of Fame legend Walter Jones, plus what he think the Hawks need to make this team complete. Mike Florio says the Hawks shouldn't have given up the ball on 4th and 11, plus his takes on the conference championship games, Luke Kuechly's retirement, and more. It's our Weekly Weigh In powered by 30/10 Weight Loss for Life. It's your chance to get Dave and Dick to weigh in on anything. Ian Furness caught up with Russell Wilson after the game on Sunday. If you missed it earlier, we've got the audio.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - The Seahawks season is over / Pete Carroll's Monday-after press conference / What's your prevailing emotion?
...And that's the end of the 2019 Seahawks season, a loss to Green Bay at Lambeau Field, playing out almost exactly as every other game this season has. Obviously, a lot of frustration today, but also respect for the team making yet another playoff run. Pete Carroll holds what is his final day-after press conference of the season, discussing everything that went down in yesterday's game. Softy asks, after 24 hours to reflect, what is your prevailing emotion today? Are you upset with the loss yesterday, or are you thankful that the team makes the playoffs year after year?

  • Softy and Dick H3 - The Malik Turner drop / Joe Fann of NBC Sports Northwest / 2012 vs now / Marshawn takes the podium
It looked like the Hawks were going to do exactly what they always do. They were going to come back and win that game in Green Bay, down 5 with just 4 minutes left, and then Malik Turner dropped the ball. Maybe they wouldn't have made it all the way down field, but it felt like that play changed the momentum of the game back in the favor of the Packers. Another big play, this one in our favor, got overshadowed by the final score, and Joe Fann of NBC Sports Northwest can't help but notice the similarities between the Shaquem Griffin sack yesterday, and the Jermaine Kearse Super Bowl catch. He joins the show to explain. Pete Carroll has compared this team to the 2012 team. Both seasons ended in a divisional round loss after an attempt at a comeback. Are you more upset about this loss, or were you more upset after that one? Marshawn Lynch took the podium after the loss giving advice to his younger teammates. If you haven't heard it, we've got he audio.

  • Softy and Dick H1 - John Donovan is the new Washington OC / Wayne Larrivee, voice of the Packers / Lee Sterling's picks
We've been waiting to find out who the new Husky offensive coordinator would be, and at long last, we finally have our answer. It's John Donovan! Wait, who's John Donovan? Well, apparently he was the OC with Vanderbilt and Penn State and has been the last few years with the Jacksonville Jaguars. So was this a good hire? Well, the jury is obviously still out but some seem concerned. The best approach right now is of course to wait and see what happens. If the offense doesn't improve under him after a year, we can start evaluating his performance. Right now let's just see what he can do. Wayne Larrivee, voice of the Packers joins the show to give us some insight into the Green Bay team; how they've evolved over the past few years and what makes them tick, plus the psyche of a Packer fan, and football culture in Wisconsin. So how likely are the Hawks to win on Sunday? What about the other divisional round games? We get picks from our handicapper Lee Sterling.
