I went freestyle on this one! Just some general encouragement for all of us to not be afraid to learn technology that can make us better all around, because as we get better, people will start to notice. 

So what exactly does it mean to be a great photographer? There are so many legends in this field but what is it that they have in common, if anything? 

In this episode I decided to go off the usual grid of honing in on one topic for the majority of the time. I do cover shutter speed and an example or two of where I failed to recognize how essential it is to choose the right range of shutter speed when shooting fast moving subjects. 

I briefly explain what aperture is and it's role in the exposure triangle. I also urge photographers to adopt a less-is-more approach to shooting and sharing, something I'm often guilty of not adhering to myself. 

In the second installment of the David Carr Podcast, David goes over a very basic explanation of the three elements of the exposure triangle: aperture, shutter speed and ISO. 

In this introductory episode of my podcast I briefly discuss cameras and what you need and don't need as a beginner. Following that I talk about light and 'seeing' the photographs.
