If your desire is really strong for Peace, and Love, and God, then you can relax knowing that God will provide everything you need on your journey to Spiritual Awakening. You are not responsible for the end or the means.

In this world we can get so caught up in busy doings that we don't even take the time to stop and question what it is we are really valuing. As we reorient our minds toward what is truly valuable, we naturally desire stillness and being used in Purpose.
As this strengthens within, people pleasing tendencies begin to drop away and we become less concerned with "rocking the boat." We really can stop trying to manage the world. We can step back and TRUST that Spirit will manage it all for us.

In this world it seems as though we have a choice between the Holy Spirit and the ego. Choosing for the Holy Spirit will lead the mind back to Oneness where there is no choice.
Jesus offers us very helpful and practical advice in Lesson 49 of A Course in Miracles: It is quite possible to listen to God's voice all through the day without interrupting your regular activities in any way.

Enjoy this beautiful parable from David about his early days on the path and how important it is to allow all the emotions to come up and out. He realized that it was not going to be possible to feel love and joy if he did not allow himself to feel everything else.
The more allowance we can give ourselves, the better. The water may become rocky for a moment but it is going to lead to smooth sailing and stillness.

The ego has made up a world where money seems to be important. It is exchangeable for so many perceived needs that it takes on an exaggerated importance and we believe that it provides security. But our true security is peace of mind. Our security is in forgiveness and in presence.
If you give yourself over to the Holy Spirit to let miracles be performed through you then that will lead you to the experience that you are totally taken care of.

Jesus used parables to teach the masses. Similarly the Holy Spirit can use movies in an extremely helpful way to teach and help us heal.
For example, The Great Gatsby is a wonderful movie for looking right at the intensity, possessiveness and hatred that are parts of our special "love" relationships. What are we pursuing in this world? In pursuing love in form we go astray. There is no substitute for God's love and it is formless, changeless and eternal. God's love is what you are!

There really is another way of looking at the world. It's possible to achieve a state of mind where nothing disturbs you. Things that may once have had you in terror can be looked at calmly and even with a sense of wonder.
You are totally worthy of living and being in a consistent state of peace. Nothing else is worth the slightest effort.

Distorted perception is the illness. Sickness is thinking you are a person and the healing is accepting that you are the Christ.

Present Peace is what you Truly desire. Wanting for anything in this world will never bring you peace or contentment but only illusions.
We are talking about a state of mind that is so fulfilled in what it actually is that there is no need to desire or want anything else.

The deeper you go into the experience of pure joy and peace, you come into the experience of the nothingness of this world. The things that we consider worth pursuing as human beings don't amount to anything.
It is safe to let go of everything you have believed in. And the further you allow yourself to sink into this emptiness, paradoxically all you experience is FULLNESS!
