David Kam (BladeBanter on YouTube) and Creator of the Orion Knives Solaris Knife - The Knife Junkie Podcast Episode 144

David Kam, aka BladeBanter on YouTube, and founder of Orion Knives and creator of the Solaris Knife -- which has more than fully funded on Kickstarter and should be available to ship in February 2021 -- joins Bob "The Knife Junkie" DeMarco on episode #144 of The Knife Junkie podcast.

Kam opens up to The Knife Junkie about the process of taking the Solaris through the Kickstarter process as well as the knife itself, plus he endures The Knife Junkie's "lightning round" at the end of the show!

A relative newcomer to the EDC hobby, David started collecting gear in 2017, began his YouTube knife review channel BladeBanter in 2018, after being an active contributor to other review channels. After his knife preferences were developed, he created Orion Knives and a premium-feel folder called the Solarus, for less than $100.

David also is administrator of the Apex Pass-Around Group, through which reviewers can get their hands on new model knives, donated to the group by the manufacturers
