This week begins Rae’s 2 parter on one of America’s most notorious serial killers. That would be David Berkowitz. Also known as the “Son Of Sam” or “44 Caliber Killer”. David was responsible for a reign of terror that plagued New York from 1976 to 1977. In that time span, David would shoot and kill 6 people, as well as wounding 7 others. He was a pretty disturbed young man who reportedly heard the voices of demons coming from dogs in his neighborhood. These voices commanded him to kill. In this first installment, Rae takes us through David’s early life, as well as the events leading up to when he started killing people.
