We are a couple of weeks out til G Day && smack in the middle of the MADNESS of March . Today is the first inaugural scrimmage of Spring football. This will be pivotal in laying the foundation for this team and where were heading as a group and as a ever evolving roster. This has been a Georgia offseason packed full of news and headlines: mostly dominated by the transfer portal and a seemingly constant coaching carousel within the football program. We're glad to be back to discuss everything spring practice, UGA Pro Day, and get things popping once again on the pod! Thank you for listening and welcome back to the show.

Nobody in the SEC is celebrating Michigan's title because the best coach in CFB has retired as HC of Alabama! After a list of candidates were explored, the losing coach in the National Championship game, Kalen Deboer from Washington will replace Saban after a 14-1 stint with the Huskies. What does this mean for Bama and more importantly how good of an opportunity is this for UGA with the G.o.a.t. in retirement? Lastly, Fantasy szn is over and congrats to all the champs out there, and to the losers... better luck next year. Go Dawgs!

UGA coaches, players and fans still feel like we are a Top 4 team after losing in the SECCG and took it all out on Florida State with a 63-3 victory in the Orange Bowl to finish the szn 13-1. Best of luck to every player that was a part of this journey, especially Brock Bowers whose career is UGA Mt. Rushmore-worthy imo. With the talent coming back in 2024 along with the top-ranked recruiting class and transfer adds in positions of need, it's not crazy to think UGA could be a pre-szn #1 again. Go Dawgs.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Truly, this is a tale of two programs for the up and coming New Years 6 Bowl game. Historically and concurrently, Florida State & UGA are two blue blood programs with national brand recognition. While these teams haven't faced off since 2003, back when Mark Richt led UGA to beat the team he previously coached for in the Sugar Bowl , the Florida State Seminoles. They have in fact had many recent battles in the transfer portal and along the recruiting trail. Of course, in 2023 both teams had aspirations of Championship trophies and Playoff appearances: & yet, both programs were left on the outside looking in at the end of the playoff committee's deliberations . UGA took it as an opportunity to collect themselves & put new meaning into this bowl game. In stark contrast, it seems most of the main stay core players that helped FSU do so well this season have pretty much all jumped ship. So needless to say this Bowl game will still be a great way to the end of our* season, albeit in semi weird circumstances in this transitional period where the college football overlords are slowly getting this chaotic mess polished into something digestible for all of us fans..

Congratulations to Alabama in their win over the Dawgs and their entry into CFP Top 4. UGA made a push at the end of the game but ultimately didn't play well enough to overcome penalties, injuries, turnovers, questionable calls, and a missed FG. UGA went on a historic run, and it took a below average performance by us and great gameplan by the Goat to stop it. The Dawgs will play Florida State in the Orange Bowl to finish up the szn. Hats off to Nick Saban, but around here it's always Go Dawgs!

A highly anticipated bout of heavyweight proportions is set to take stage this Saturday afternoon with the commencement of the SEC Championship. Both teams share a recent history of extremely competitive high stakes match ups & this year is no different. The winner is guaranteed a spot in the CFP, while the loser will be hoping and wishing for football chaos to sway in their favor. The DAWGS have had a great season in their hopes to go for 3 in 2023. Now, they control their destiny. All we have to do is get past BAMA, again. Coach Saban and company demand respect. Guess what, so do we. Thanks for listening, sharing , and following ! Chito's first trip to Bobby Dodd finishes with a 31-23 victory over the bees and sets an SEC-record 29 consecutive wins for UGA. It was freezing in ATL but Kendall Milton and the run game were on fire as he went for 150+ and 2 TD's, but the game wasn't without its flaws. Turnovers and poor run fits (and the refs) kept Tech in this one late, but the Dawgs hold on and finish their 3rd regular szn 12-0. Now we prep to come back to ATL to get another trophy and a spot in the CFP. All on this weeks' epsiode... of Dawgs OTL.
