DAWGS OFF THE LEASH

College Football is ALL THE WAY back as the slate starts with Florida (trying not to get embarrassed) and going through FSU vs. LSU in Orlando on Sunday. However, the Dawgs will start the 2023 szn between the hedges against UT-Martin, 1 of 3 teams from the Volunteer State UGA wants to beat on the way to history. ESPN Picks Alabama (SECC), but neither Chito nor Keegan have the Tide making the CFP. Talking szn is over and it's time to find out. We also say goodbye to another DGD, but never forget his impact and legacy. It's Week 1, what else is there to say besides.... Go Dawgs!

Kirby Smart has made an announcement for the 2023 szn, and it's that Carson Beck will be the starting Quarterback for the University of Georgia. Most of us thought that this would be the case, but the work is just starting for Beck and he still has a lot to prove. The same can be said about positions on the offensive line and the cornerback position, so the work continues as we are only ONE Saturday away from kicking off between the hedges. Go Dawgs!

Kirby Smart and the Dawgs get ready for scrimmage #2 as football szn inches closer every day. The grind continues as this years' version of UGA football will start the szn as #1 for the first time since 2008 (We gotta talk about it). Camp rumors, injuries, and recruiting news continue but talking szn is almost over! NFL and Fantasy Football are on the horizon and the Braves look to sweep the Yankees to start a 9-game homestand with a league leading 77-wins as October approaches. Are you ready?? All this and more, on this weeks' episode.... of Dawgs Off the Leash!

"Championships are won in the Off-SZN" Everybody says it, but not everyone is willing to work for it, but the 2023 version of the Bulldogs has already shown they are not scared to work and the next 25 practices will be crucial for this team to bond, improve, and form an identity. Will Carson Beck be QB1? Who will emerge as CB2? Can the defense be dominant AGAIN, and will Bobo call a draw on 3rd and long?? Messi is unstoppable in Miami, and the Braves are unstoppable everywhere! All of that and more on this weeks' episode of.. Dawgs OTL

SEC Media Days are upon us and there is a real buzz around the UGA program right now, most recognize that this program isn't slowing down anytime soon, despite what some (recently terminated) journalists have insinuated about our player's recent run-ins with the law. Sedrick Van Pran Granger, Brock Bowers, and Kamari Lassiter were chosen to represent the Red & Black this week in Nashville, and per usual Kirby Smart shows why he continues to be the [perfect] leader for this team. Next stop, Fall camp! Go Dawgs.

Before we can even put out a podcast Kirby brings in another MONSTER along the line of scrimmage to add to an already impressive recruiting class for 2024! Chito and Keegan talk Neyland Stadium, recruits galore, and another speeding ticket. All this and so much more on this weeks' episode.... of Dawgs OTL!

Georgia recruiting continues to pile on with more solid additions to the 2024 and 2025 class. Meanwhile down in Florida, the lousy stinkin Gators make some major gains in attempting to revive their historic program. Will it be enough to mount a resurgence or is it too little too late? The NBA Draft has officially commenced and an international superstar will soon be playing the other football at a stadium near you. All that and more in this weeks Dawgs OTL! Go DAWGS

Chito and Keegan are back in another episode of Dawgs Off The Leash reacting and investigating the latest updates to the "new and improved" SEC Conference in 2024. Many big games to look forward to and much at stake for UGA Football & the rest of the SEC. Only a matter of time before we are talking about Fall matchups and favorable temperatures. Go Dawgs! & thanks again for listening to DAWGS OTL!

The New 8 conference game SEC schedule drops TONIGHT @ 7pm! Rumors are that the Dawgs will travel to both Tuscaloosa and Austin, TX. What other surprises will be revealed? Also, the recruiting train keeps speeding down the tracks as UGA lands another top-100 defender to an already [stacked] recruiting class. The Braves are in the midst of a double-header with the Detroit Tigers as they continue to be one of the best teams in baseball, despite mounting injuries, and the Denver Nuggets and the Las Vegas Knights win the NBA Finals & the Stanley Cup respectively over 2 Florida teams.
