Weh Yeoh is a serial social entrepreneur, with his most recent one Umbo founded in 2018, in partnership with Francesca Pinzone and Ed Johnson, created to combat one of Australia’s biggest hidden problems: access to speech and occupational therapy in regional Australia.
Umbo makes it easier for people to see a speech or occupational therapist by connecting those in need with allied health professionals, via our online platform. Through an interactive video calling program, we put therapists in your home with all the tools they need to assess how best to deal with your family’s needs.

Julia Newbould is editor-at large at Money magazine Australia. She has a long career in financial media, starting in 2000 at Financial Planning magazine. She has worked on most financial services titles and has written for the SMH, The Australian and other mainstream media. She was responsible for marketing communications at BT Financial Group since 2010, and in 2013 she launched the Stella Network to encourage more women in to move into financial planning careers.
Her passion is financial literacy and financial independence, with particular interest on women, who she feels are often left behind in the financial world. Julia has co-written, with financial adviser Kate McCallum, a book for women called The Joy of Money which was released this month and is widely available on-line and in bookshops.
Julia joined Dai Le and Cathy Ngo to share her insights on the importance for individuals, in particular women, to have basic understanding of how to manage their finance and plan for their future.

July 02, 2020 Eden-Monaro By-Election on Independence Day @Dawn | Karen Porter | Independent Candidate
The Eden-Monaro By-Election will be held on July 4th.

For those who follow Australian politics, this Federal seat is currently held by the Labor Member of the House of Representatives, Mike Kelly, who resigned on April 30th, 2020 due to ill health. The margin of the Federal seat is .9% to Labor.

Eden-Monaro is known as a "bellwether seat", which means whichever Party wins the seat, determines the Government of the day. It has been that way from 1972 until 2016. But that didn't happy in 2016 when it swung to Labor but Labor didn't win Government.

It's often the two major parties in Australia - Labor and Liberals - who put up candidates to run in elections. This time it would be no different. However, in recent years, Australia has seen the emergence of Independent candidates running in elections. And as more and more people become cynical about the current system, they are turning away from the major parties and placing their vote on others who were more accessible and representative.

Can an independent like Karen Porter make a difference in this seat? July 4th is American Independence Day.
