Every morning, a group of Bahai friends meets in a Zoom call to read prayers. Each session begins with the same prayer, He is the All-Glorious, then each friend reads one or two selections from Bahai prayers or writings for that day. We invite you to follow, listen, and be inspired to go on to your day with a firm foundation of prayer.

With this prayer doth thy servant call thee, at dawn tide and in the night season... Our purpose is to show that should the loved ones of God sanctify their hearts, and their ears, from vain sayings... and turn their innermost souls to Him, such behavior would be regarded as highly notorious in the sight of God.

O Thou loving Lord, the movers of sedition are in some regions astir and active, and by night and day are inflicting a grievous wrong. O Thou divine Providence, preserve and protect us! O Thou Who art our Shield, save us and defend us! Keep us beneath Thy Shelter, and by Thy Help save us from all ills… Verily Thou art the Invincible, the Almighty, the All Powerful.

O Thou compassionate Lord, Thou Who art generous and able! We are servants of Thine sheltered beneath Thy providence. Cast Thy glance of favor upon us. Give light to our eyes, hearing to our ears, and understanding and love to our hearts. Render our souls joyous and happy through Thy glad tidings.

Lord! Give me to drink from the chalice of selflessness; with its robe clothe me, and in its ocean immerse me. Make me as dust in the pathway of Thy loved ones, and grant that I may offer up my soul for the earth ennobled by the footsteps of Thy chosen ones in Thy path, O Lord of Glory in the Highest.

This prayer begins each session of Dawn Prayers.

Lay not upon your souls that which will weary them and weigh them down, but rather what will lighten and uplift them, so that they may soar on the wings of the divine verses towards the dawning place of His manifest signs. This will draw you nearer to God.

...for their agitation was turned into peace, their doubt into certitude, their timidity into courage. Such is the potency of the divine elixir.

Each morning we start out with the same prayer, "He is the All-Glorious!... then, one by one, we read prayers we have chosen especially for this day.

Be thou as a flame of fire to my enemies, a river of life eternal to my loved ones... By God, should one who is in affliction or grief read this tablet with absolute sincerity, God will dispel his sadness and remove his afflictions... Oh friends, be not careless of the virtues with which ye have been endowed, neither be neglectful of your high destiny.

Illumine my face with the radiance of the orb of thy bounty... religion is a radiant light, and an impregnable stronghold for the protection and the welfare of the people of the world... the flame of my separation from thee hath melted my heart within me.
