The City of Joy Christian School in Rwanda is an anomaly.  Set in rural Africa, within a country ravaged by genocide, and serving students with little or no resources, you would not expect what is, in fact, happening.  Students are thriving, learning, and growing.  Scores on national tests are not just exceeding the average, they are running in the top 5% of all Rwandan students.

So what is happening?  Why is Rwanda's Secretary of Education visiting the campus and investigating their outstanding outcomes?

As you will hear in today's Kingdom Culture Conversation with Dawna Underwood and Teri Beckner, the answer is simple.  The Gospel.  The Gospel as revealed in the vehicle of Christian education.
