Inducted into the International Explorers Hall of Fame, in his role as a correspondent for ABC News, Dr. Michael Guillen has broadcast live, underwater, from the deck of the Titanic and suspended from a helicopter from within Mount St. Helen.  With five earned doctorates and an adventurous, passionate love of science, Dr. Guillen follows the data no matter where it leads.

Jay Rudolph has a reputation.

 "The Plumb Line" is a nationally-syndicated radio program (KPXQ, FaithTalk Radio, 1360am in Phoenix) that Rudolph hosts and this long-time radio personality has become associated with straight-talk and apologetics.

At this point in the summer, a summer in which we have explored so many different ideas and so many theories, maybe we could use some straight-talk!

Join us today as Jay walks us through his personal testimony and conveys how it is that he came to rely so wholly and fully on God's word.  Further, you will hear him take his measuring stick and plumb line and set it to work in God's word as we delve into the interconnectedness and interdependence between framing up those first few chapters in Genesis with the Gospel.

School is starting!  

And, with the resumption of school just around the corner, with a summer of diverse perspectives on the age of the earth, scriptural translations, and cosmic origins behind us, in the final analysis, what is that Northwest Christian School teaches its students?

The largest private school in the state of Arizona...a school with the audacity to include "Christian" in its name!  Does it teach Old Earth?  New Earth?  What is said about evolutionary theory?  How is Genesis presented...allegory?  Literal history?

The moment of truth has come!

Today, we spend time with Junior Bible teacher Nicole Hunter as she breaks down all of these questions and more!  Although we still have a few weeks and episodes on origins and creationism ahead of us, today we enjoy insightful commentary and solid Biblical perspective on how this is all presented to students!

Sherman Mohler discovered a dinosaur.

Well, technically, he was part of the team that unearthed, cataloged, researched, and ultimately named Ornatops incantatus, a type of duck-billed dinosaur that roamed northern New Mexico approximately 80 million years ago.

By the way, Sherman discovered this dinosaur not too far from where he goes to church while he's on fossil expeditions.

Wait.  Church?  Fossils?  80 million years?  Is it possible to include all of these things in the same episode of Kingdom Culture Conversations?

That is the reason that Sherman Mohler, a recognized and accomplished paleontologist, who serves as the president of the Southwest Paleontological Society, accepted the invitation to be our guest for what will be two days of very intriguing conversation.  Plainly said, Sherman wants our students and listeners to know that you can follow Christ, believe your Bible, and hold to an understanding that the world is billions of years old.  Further, he's inviting us to do the work -- read the research, study God's Word, examine the evidence -- and, decide for yourself, recognizing that your security in Christ and position in your Christian faith are not at risk.

BioLogos generally advocates for “evolutionary creation,” the view that God used evolutionary processes in creation.
