Season 3, Episode 19 - Stolen Kisses
It's a horse-washing, pool-playing, guest-star celebrating kind of episode. (Side note... if you know who Aunt Gwen is related to, please slide into those DMs because she's great but seriously - where did she come from??)
From Netflix: A Spring Break trip to see Dawson’s aunt brings Pacey and Joey closer. Meanwhile, Jen becomes jealous when another woman pursues Henry.
Season 3, Episode 18 - Neverland
In this post-kiss, pre-Jack bonding with his dad episode, Kim and Zazz spend a large amount of time (in a show about Dawson’s Creek) talking about Jurassic World and the language of chess. Oh! And rain!
From Netflix: While Pacey sets out to tell Dawson about his feelings for Joey, she tries to avoid another kiss.
Season 3, Episode 17 - Cinderella Story
Joey’s a heartbreaker, Pacey’s a masochist, and Gail’s a restauranteur. Zazz breaks down the science behind wishes, Kim has thoughts on The NY Times newspaper (literally the paper), and both talk about different shows that used Paris as a plot point.
From Netflix: Joey learns that there’s someone else in AJ’s life, and Dawson tries to help his mother open the new restaurant.
Season 3, Episode 16: To Green, With Love
Joey’s out here being a rabble-rouser (in the name of justice)! Lots of conversation about One Tree Hill cast, uncovering what A.J. actually stands for. Plus, Zazz’s story about meeting a famous game show host that, for legal reasons, we will not be naming here.
From Netflix: Joey rallies her friends and family in support of Capeside High’s embattled principal.
Season 3, Episode 15: Crime and Punishment
Joey's an artist (again). Pacey's in love (still). And we're back on the SAT story (practice - the PRACTICE SAT). Plus! Listener mail!
From Netflix: Pacey seeks revenge after a vandal’s attack on Joey’s school mural, and Andie’s guilt deepens after learning the results of her college entrance exam.
Season 3, Episode 14 - Valentine's Day Massacre
This week - the party is lame, the Jello shots are a jiggling, and the Joey is in head-to-toe yellow rain gear. Plus, Kim tells a story about embarrassing herself and Zazz has a new character she’s trying out.
From Netflix: Pacey persuades Dawson and their friends to attend a wild Valentine’s Day party.
Season 3, Episode 13 - Northern Lights
After an unexpected hiatus, we are back with a very important One Tree Hill crossover location, MORE love (but never enough love) for The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, and we take one scene a little too seriously… Plus - we’re planning our live show at the Alaskan Airlines Theater in Juno Alaska!
Oh! Also, we talk about the show Dawson’s Creek.
From Netflix: Pacey’s stage fright threatens to ruin the school play’s opening night, and Joey agrees to date a college student.
Season 3, Episode 12 - A Weekend in the Country
It's time to watch people sleep, talk about different smells, and reunite with long-long family members (but like - in a sweet way).
From Netflix: Everyone rallies to make a good impression after Pacey arranges for an influential travel writer to visit the Potter sisters’ new inn.
Season 3, Episode 11 - Barefoot at Capefest
It’s Capefest time! Something that has always existed! Jack camps with Ethan, Jen fights with Henry, Andie is an AD now, and, of course, now Dawson is into John Lennon and so that’s going to not be annoying. Plus, love for The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
From Netflix: Jack looks for his first gay experience, and Dawson finds a rival sympathetic to his parent’s divorce.
Season 3, Episode 10 - First Encounters of the Close Kind
Dawson learns about criticism, Joey learns about unisex names, Andie learns nothing (TBH). Also, Zazz teaches Kim about college tours and what it’s like to have hopes and dreams.
From Netflix: In Boston, where Dawson has entered a film festival, Andie and Joey make a college campus visit while Jack checks out the city’s gay scene.
From the publisher's feed
When’s the last time you watched Dawson’s Creek? When’s the last time you watched it along with two grown women, who are obsessed with each other (in a healthy way!).
Kim and Zazz are watching Dawson’s Creek from the very beginning, and we want you to join. For Kim, Dawson’s Creek was a formative part of her young teen years, and since then has watched it all the way through a couple of times before this. Meanwhile, Zazz missed it on the first run and is now watching it all for the first time.
After meeting on another WB/CW show (aw) and working in TV production for almost a decade (yikes), we’re using this incredibly weird time in our lives to rewatch and discuss every episode on a podcast - you know, just like our grandparents did.
