Day 47 - Leviticus 11-13

Today, the focus shifts to dietary laws and other laws relating to ritual purity. These were provided to set the Israelites apart as holy and to allow them to come close to God's holiness without being consumed. Breaking these laws will make you unclean. However, this state of ritual impurity was not condemnation. Most of them were resolved naturally by time or washing. These are fulfilled in Christ who purifies his people by giving them a new heart.
