He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying. And go quickly and tell his disciples that He has risen from the dead. Matthew 28:6-7

It is now Sunday, the final day of Passion Week. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary had come to the tomb at dawn. They came to care for the dead body of Jesus by anointing it with spices.
When they arrived, an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and rolled back the stone. They also noticed the guards were shaking in fear as they saw the angel sitting on the stone. Finally, the angel announced Jesus was no longer in the tomb but had risen from the dead just as He said.
