Hazarded their lives - "to give into the hands (of another); to give over into (one's) power or use". We have all placed our lives into someone's (or something's) power; the question is, what?
This Psalm is always convicting and encouraging. Reading the story of Israel and their back and forth between honoring God and forgetting God, it is a look into our own tendencies to live double-minded and forget God in our daily, hourly walk. There are four helpful thoughts to be lifted form this psalm, which teach us how not to forget God!

This is the question, "How can I learn to keep my thoughts on God through the day, so as to be led by the Spirit in becoming the best I can be for the Lord?" This is the answer, "Intentional action (training) leads to a developed condition (practice); so, we must do what we wish to be until who we are is in truth what we desired to become."
Learning the way of holiness, walking in the path of the just, is a very intentional life. But we can learn it, and practice makes progress!

Why this struggle with sin? Our true heart belongs to God in Christ, so, why then do we still find ourselves enticed by evil things? How do we find victory?

This is a re-airing of our broadcast from April 14, 2023. We thought it would be a good reminder as we took a short sabbatical before returning to the studio.
