Our God is a personal God. He wants us to understand that as our Father, He is near, and is personally interested in our concerns and well-being. No other issue should matter when I believe, truly believe God really loves me. He keeps me from stumbling, His love covers me like a blanket, His compassion is new every moment. Love is kind, gentle and forgiving. Knowing my Father loves me is what matters most in this world - and the next.

There is perhaps only one way to live in a place of inner peace. We try to impagine it as silence and solitude. God says it is His peace that transcends all understanding. It is beyond comprehension, yet it exists in our relationship with Jesus. Our surrender is to Him, not to nothingness. It is by keeping our thoughts on what is true and real – on Him, that we find true rest and a peace-filled life. It is the Lord of Peace who has already given us peace. Trust Him.
