Take a moment to consider what it means to have the Spirit of God dwell with us, in us! It is an immense concept and truth. Our belief in Jesus as God's Son, God's deposit of His Spirit in us to protect and seal us as His own, creates a bond, a preservation of holiness within us and with Him. May we honor our relationship with God's grace and love toward us.

This meditation continues with Psalms 19, bridging the distance of the universe to our souls. It points to God's attention and intent of perfection is the same for us as it is for the placement of the sun, moon and stars. Who are we, God, that you pay such close attention to us? Every word You speak is truth. Everything You say creates life. May we recognize the depth of Your love for us. May we in turn, love others the same way.

To be chosen by God! What an honor, what a responsibility, and indeed we called for both. By faith, by hope we leave our nets and follow the Man who can see who we will become – for we shall be like Him, those who hold no record of wrong, who are gentle, kind and rely on God to work within us this life-transforming image of His Son, Jesus.

Psalms 19 leads us to consider God from the expanse of the universe He created to the innermost essence of who we are and what we think. This meditation focuses on the first six verses, taking us out into space to view God's greatness from a heavenly perspective.

Jesus' words are our words: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me.. to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor." It is with confidence, we can seek God for wisdom, for confidence and for an anointing. After all, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free."

The scriptures say it so well, “For the sense and reason of the flesh is death, but the mind-set controlled by the Spirit finds life and peace.” If we focus our thoughts, asking God’s Spirit to fill our minds, guide our thoughts, we will live in peace, no matter our circumstances.

Whether we have spent much time thinking about it or not, as God's children, we add flavor wherever we go. Our interactions are the sprinklings of God's grace, spiritual and eternal blessings to grace the lives of the lonely, the sad ones, and those who are burdened. We don't often know who they are. We are just to be a savory moment that makes their day a little better.

Jesus, the blameless One, could have judged fairly, instead He chose not to judge, but to love each person He met. When we understand the full impact of who Love is and what Love does, only then will we trust God with the outcome. Judging means we’re afraid “they will get away with it”. Jesus says, “leave it to Me, let Love make the ruling.”

We can only imagine what a garment of praise might look like! Is it glowing, does it move with the music, with our hearts of joy? We're told we are clothed with salvation, praise, mercy, and righeousness. Covered with perfection. That's what our Father sees. Do we see each other that way?

May our prayers today be for true justice - where there is no color line, no judgement of another's value based on their beliefs or religion, no disrespect of another's position in life. May we embrace God's values and see through His eyes, that we may love others as we love ourselves.
