Take a moment to consider what it means to have the Spirit of God dwell with us, in us! It is an immense concept and truth. Our belief in Jesus as God's Son, God's deposit of His Spirit in us to protect and seal us as His own, creates a bond, a preservation of holiness within us and with Him. There may be times in our lives when work feels mundane, where efforts fall short and we question our purpose. If we are God's child, we have a destiny that may never 'look' exciting or exotic. What does the power of God look like? As we see God revealed throughout His Word, we see a God who is all-powerful, One who can do all things, One for whom there is nothing too difficult. So, for what does He use His power? He has done and continues to do everything in His mighty power to save us, to redeem us, to set us free to be all He created us to be, to reconcile us to Himself, His children, who are created in His likeness and for His glory. The power of God does what we cannot do! In turn our greatest power and privilege is to surrender to what He is doing - loving us, so we learn how to love others. the love of God. God is love. Love is the greatest expression of power in all creation and in forever. Verse 8 in 1 Corinthians 13 remind us, Love never fails.
