Australia has had revivals in the past. Revivals that have also been cut short. However, according to past and more recent prophecies, Australia will be the launching land of the last great revival of the Holy Spirit.

Posturing ourselves to worship God aligns us with Him so that we receive His revelation, it impacts how we pray, it releases God’s “suddenlys” into our lives.

Prophecy releases God’s words in God’s timing. Prophecy illuminates our hearts with heaven’s perspective.

We cannot coerce or command God by telling Him what to do. Our religious “antics” do not help God do what He has already planned to do. He is very kindly disposed to us but He is not Father Christmas. We do need to let go of our need to control Him and trust.

Jesus told the religious leaders that they focussed so much on the words of Scripture that they totally missed Who the Scriptures were pointing to. They so concentrated on the “pointer” (Bible) they missed the “Point” (Jesus).

Romans 5 and 6 are brilliant chapters on how God has made a new way of righteousness for us outside of Law (Torah). In Law there is no way one can escape. Being made alive in Jesus means we have the energy of God stirring us up into a brand new life.

Faith is often a confusing subject within Christianity. Do we have enough? How do I get more? Our focus though should be on Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith! When we get this right faith will come.

The Gospel- “good and joyful news”- was the driving message contained in Paul’s teaching. He was adamant that his was the only complete and true Gospel, and about maintaining an authentic message. We are encouraged not to be ignorant about this.
