The basic difference between making a bad decision over a good one is choosing immediate rewards over eternal rewards. Pastor Jon explains how to keep our eye on the eternal rewards instead of the cheap substitutes that the devil has to offer here and now.

Decisions Series (Joshua 9-10) – “You had a Moral Failure” – Of all the bad decision stories in the Bible, David’s sin with Bathsheba has to be one of the saddest in terms of heartaches and consequences. God includes it in His Word for our instruction… and to remind us that He can redeem any situation.

Pastor Jon begins a new sermon series called “Decisions, Decisions” and teaches from the story of the 12 spies how God can redeem our bad decisions, even when they were caused because we didn’t trust Him.

Easter Sunday (Mark 10:32-45) Christ is Risen! We celebrate this awesome truth every Sunday, but especially at Easter. If we aren’t careful, though, we can grow unmoved and unchanged… just like the 12 disciples. There is great hope and joy in the Resurrection; not just for eternity, but for a new life here and now.

Palm Sunday (1 Tim. 2:1-6) Each year during Easter month, our church partners with other SBC churches to receive a special offering to support missions in North America. In this message, we are reminded that God expects each of us to be involved in missions, and how this can very practically be done.

(Ruth 4:13-22) We cannot NOT leave a legacy to the next generation: the results are too important and significant to not give it our best effort.

(Ruth 3:10-4:10) – Romance. In general, men are pretty clueless about romance, which is why women love the story of Ruth and Boaz – because Boaz *gets* women! Pastor Jon explains how the romance of the book of Ruth is a picture of God’s redeeming love for us.
