Not all electric stimulation is the same.
There is a good reason electric stimulation devices produce a biphasic alternating current instead of a direct current.
I went down a rabbit hole on this and I'm going to take you with me.
NOTE: at one point I misspoke and said "black lead" when I meant "red lead". Black lead is negative and goes on the motor point. Red is positive and can go on the motor point or something else.
