DCOM, Cool, and Collected

This week we watched Andrew Lawerence in a not Lawerence Brothers film. This movie was talking about cloning, but we all know the original clone, Dolly the sheep! Listen to hear our thoughts on this DCOM!

Sorry to any and all Horse Girls that we might offend with our opinions about this week's DCOM Ready to Ride. Still in the year 2000, but slowly making our way to DCOMS we are more familiar with. Also mentioned in the podcast, Elizabeth adopted a dog last weekend, his name is Buddy and you may or may not be able to hear his sighs in the episode.

This week we watched Stepsister from Planet Weird, and we are finally halfway through the DCOMs from the year 2000. Kelly forgot Meredith's name from The Parent Trap, and we talk about whether it's more like Yours, Mine, and Ours or The Parent Trap. Maybe the answer is a bit of both.

This week we watched Alley Cats Strike. If you've ever believed the myth that you can easily hit a 7-10 split by setting the bowling ball down, spinning it, and then pushing it down the alley it's probably because of this movie (and also it doesn't work.)

We mentioned Disney Plus or Minus who mathbust scenes. They haven't gotten to Alley Cats Strike yet, but hopefully they will soon and we can all learn more about that.

Model Behavior is technically a Wonderful World of Disney movie and not a DCOM, but as stated in our previous non-DCOM episodes because they are Disney affiliated and aired on Disney Channel as we grew up we included it. Plus it has a young Justin Timberlake so it would've been a mistake to miss out on that!

This week we watched the WWoD classic Life-Size. Tyra and Lindsay really did something special with this one, and we hope you'll join us for the ride that is this movie.

If you have Disney+ / the funds to rent it or buy The Color of Friendship from somewhere, we totally recommend watching it. Without any spoilers, we learned a lot, and looked up a lot about this 'based on a true story' DCOM.

Also, as we mentioned, we are totally open to corrections! This is a sensitive topic, and if we said anything inappropriate or wrong, don't hesitate to let us know. We want to learn and be the most helpful that we can be in these discussions.

The article we referenced about the story this DCOM is based on: https://www.tvguide.com/news/color-of-friendship-piper-dellums-interview/
