Dublin City Schools is getting ready to host an event called Work in Dublin! Job, Career, and Internship fair on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, for our high school students.

Over 70 employers have signed up and close to 30 of those are what we are identifying as Bright Futures Employers. This quick trailer episode describes what a DCS Bright Futures employer is and provides insight on why they are being showcased during the next two weeks on this podcast.

After 11 years as a school counselor at Dublin Coffman, I’m excited to step into this new role that allows me to focus on helping students and families in our district with creating school experiences that foster self-discovery and career exploration, all in an effort to help them make more informed decisions about which path to choose after high school. The purpose of this podcast is to highlight and explain the many opportunities available through our HS programs and pathways while also shedding light on the various post-secondary options related to what we call the 4 E’s - Education, Employment, Enlistment, and Entrepreneurship. 

Each week I’ll focus on a different theme that ties into Pathway planning with new episodes being released on Monday mornings.
