Loyal Listeners...I just can't wrap my head around the fact that we just released our 100th episode of #dcsdtransforms. 100. I mean, seriously. One. Hundred. That's a lot of time editing, ya know? haha! In all seriousness, this is a really special episode, particularly for DCSD staff, parents, and students. In this episode, we have Mrs. Diane Sigmon, Executive Director of Technology for DCSD, Mrs. Carlita Davis, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction for DCSD, and Dr. Tim Newman, Superintendent of DCSD. We were so fortunate that all three could put a time on their schedule for us to meet together and record this show. And we are most appreciative of their willingness to be on the show, and the time they set aside for us! Each person is going to address the idea of edtech in DCSD, but each person will have a slightly different take on it. Mrs. Sigmon will be discussing where we have been as a district with technology in the district. Next, you'll hear from Mrs. Davis about where we are now and how the tools are being used to enhance learning in our district. Finally, Dr. Newman will be discussing the future of technology in DCSD. While we know this is a longer episode, it had to be! Why? Because do you have any idea the extent of amazing things happening across our district? It's incredible, and we wanted to share all of that with you! Thanks for tuning it!
