D&D Classic Rock and Roll Chat

The Dude Dives into another 6-Pack of Vaulted Pleasures. Hoping I can figure out where the time went since the last dive with Zep, Bryan Adams and friends have love on the mind, No Doubt says enough talking, so lets simmer up to this latest six with Traffic, and many more!!!  #ddclassicrock #podcast #rockandroll #rockon

The Eagles are missing one of their captains whom was lost all too soon in Glenn Frey, but in the current line-up from 2017 on, his son Deacon has been filling in for his father. This album shows that Deacon can stand on his own talents while he performs the classic song "Take It Easy".  Speaking of easy, it's easy to see why Don Henley brought in Vince Gill to be part of the current line-up with his vocals on "Take It To The Limit", and co-lead guitar Steuart Smith hits all the notes on the band's biggest hits. Take the ride with the current line-up at The Forum for what it is and Take It To The Limit....One More Time. #ddclassicrock #THEEAGLES #DONHENLEY #JOEWALSH #VINCEGILL #DEACONFREY #THEEAGLESATTHEFORUM

We have been teased about the Wildflowers Expanded Edition...B-Sides...Rough Cuts, whatever you wish to call it for years from the late great Tom Petty. This week we got another taste of what should be a full release later this year with an acoustic version of one of Tom Petty's all time great solo songs. Not a bad treat this Independence Week and Independence Day! Oh and yes...I have a clip of it loaded that plays immediately following my podcast for those eager to hear part of the cut...if you happen to be listening on Anchor's Host Site! #tompetty #wildflowers #ddclassicrock

The Dude Dives back into the Kelly Hansen and Lou Gramm discussion as the lead singers for the band "Foreigner" over the years. Yes there was a third sprinkled in for a short time, but these two have dominated the lead singer role of the line-up. My follow-up is that Foreigner created the perfect transition to the relevancy of it's past and future. #foreigner #lougramm #kellyhansen #mickjones #ddclassicrock #foreignerband

The Dude and The Dog dive into a review of the Eddie Money EP "Brand New Day", released less than a year after his passing. A solid EP, but will we ever see the other tracks that were originally previewed to be part of a supposed full length final album??? Plus we share our concert going experience to one of The Money Man's last touring stops. Give the release 4 out of 5 stars, for what was able to be released on the EP.  #eddiemoney #brandnewday #ddclassicrock #themoneyman

Pearl Jam come out with a new album seven years in the making. The Dude & The Dog discuss our thoughts on the new tracks and where they fit in along the Pearl Jam timeline of sound. Not an old school album, but a solid album. We give it a 3 to 3.5 stars out of 5 stars. #pearljam #ddclassicrock #gigaton (Forgive any social distancing audio technical hiccups)
