  • #26 PROFESSIONALS: Feeding your horse with Nic Read
In the third episode of the professionals series i sit down with Nic Read (virtually of course) to discuss all things horse feeds. Nic is an equine nutritionist for Saracens Horse Feeds and has been de-mystifying the world of horse feeds for me for many years. We talk about what you need to think about when deciding on what to feed your horse and when deciding what brand to use too. We also look at different types of horses and what to remember when planning a feed routine for them. Getting your horse's feed right can make such a difference. We ask our horses to be athletes and so they need the right amount of energy, protein, vitamins and minerals to make sure they are able to work to their best.
