Next, Joseph discusses how to avoid decline, emphasizing that the "spirit of Elijah" is essential for maintaining a movement. He references Proverbs 20:28-29 to illustrate that sharing wisdom and strength across generations is crucial for sustaining a movement and preventing its decline. According to him, the older generation must equip the younger generation with wisdom, while the younger generation brings their strength to the table. This collaboration, the exchange of wisdom for strength, helps sustain a legacy.

Joseph also points to Malachi 4:6 to affirm that God desires to maintain momentum for future generations. He clarifies that when the next generation builds upon the foundations laid by their predecessors, they begin to achieve success, increasing their impact thirty, sixty, or even a hundredfold. He asserts that when we invest ourselves in what God intends to accomplish, we begin to transform the culture and dispel darkness.
