For nearly a year, questions remained about whether the baby had been born alive and exactly how he died. Then, on August 21, 2026, Laken pleaded guilty—and admitted in court that instead of helping her newborn son, she ended his life by depriving him of oxygen.

Then, more than 2,000 miles away in Pennsylvania, police arrested criminology graduate student Bryan Kohberger.

The investigation would involve DNA recovered from a knife sheath, surveillance footage, cellphone records, and a white Hyundai Elantra. Kohberger maintained his innocence for years — until a stunning reversal in 2025, when he pleaded guilty to all four murders and burglary, avoiding the death penalty.

Sarah leads this episode about a beautiful, talented, sweet, and creative young woman named Daisy, living in Compton. She was tragically murdered at just 19 years old.
