Chris Schmidt and Connor Clark are back for a Monday edition of Hail Varsity Radio as the guys open the show up by talking Nebraska's second closed scrimmage of spring ball on Saturday, specifically the quarterbacks and the great day they had according to Head Coach Matt Rhule. The guys then welcome David Gustafson to discuss Husker baseball's series win over Maryland over the weekend and previews some very important games moving forward. To finish up hour one the guys hear some of Coach Rhule's presser following the scrimmage on Saturday and break down more of the offense. In hour two its Coach Charlie McBride who sits down with the guys to discuss third down defense and the importance of that to win ballgames in the Big Ten next season and how to respond if the defense gives up a big third down. Then Jay Moore continues the defensive conversation and lays out what he wants to see during the spring game next Saturday. Hour two wraps up with more Rhule audio and a brief conversation about the NFL Draft.
