Nottingham Forest #nffc long pursuit of a new number one goalkeeper has been drawn out all summer long, and at the centre of this saga has been Manchester United's #manutd Dean Henderson.

The England International goalkeeper completed his year long loan spell at Nottingham Forest at the end of last season, and has since returned to Manchester where he has been participating in their American tour. But the #premierleague giants have made it clear he is not part of managers Ten Hag's plans going forward and is available for sale. Henderson himself has also shown a strong desire to return to Forest, with a verbal agreement between him and owner Marinakis reportedly being discussed at the end of last season.

However the transfer of Henderson to Nottingham Forest has taken much longer than both the player and clubs hoped, with reports of different structures to the deal every other day, plus injury concerns delaying the completion.
