I reflected on five lessons I took home from Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires this year, talked about how I am feeling about the move to Toronto coming up this year, and spend some time thinking about what March means to me and what I expect of my future self.

We talk about the different cultures in civil construction and tech startup. What can traditional engineers learn from the innovative tech industry? In between my busy travel schedule, I've read some books and watched some shows lately that made me realize my own moral inconsistencies. I discuss Christine Korsgaard's "Fellow Creatures" and the points that stuck the most to me, "The Door" by Magda Szabo, the Japanese show "God's Favoritism" and American show "The Good Place". 

This week I chat with a friend who has so many hobbies on the go that we almost never see each other anymore! We talk about maturing into adulthood and what we could have done differently in ours 20s, as well as relive some of the dumb stuff we did in university.

Birthday is only one day but I celebrate all month - what's wrong with that? I recall some tidbits of my recent trip to Stockholm, Malmo, Berlin and Gothenburg. My travels and the story of Simas Kudirka have made me reflect on my privilege to travel. 

My friend visits me in Victoria and we chat about our experience working in urban transportation design and who our cities are not designed for. Grace also gives me an insider look into audio engineering and music production, while we try not to get copyright strike playing a pop music game.
