This episode was not only so much fun and inspiring but a complete honor to have my special friend Sharon Pierre-Louis. This is a real treat for her fans of the Freeform’s hit series Switched at Birth in the recurring guest star role of Iris which is also now on Netflix. Sharon Pierre-Louis is a multilingual Haitian-American fluent in Kreyol, American Sign Language, English, and conversational French. She is an actress and classical/Opera singer and poet.

On the show we talked about the new media series, Grown, on Complex.com. You've seen her on Lincoln Heights,ABC Family/Freeform’s The Lying Game, CBS’s CSI: Miami, ABC’s Suburgatory, Django Unchained and the indie film Electric Love. This is not even half of her amazing career in television and theatre. We dig deeper about staying grounded in the lights and action of the Hollywood scene. She opens up about her experiences and the real reason she gravitated to becoming an actress. This episode was beyond fabulous, Our guest Latoya left her career as an RN to fulfill her dreams and passion for her unstoppable modest clothing brand. Not only is she a self taught and a great personality she is an incredible mom of three boys and a wife. Her family and devotion keeps her going. This episode was an eye opener as she talks about clothing profiling that her 15 year old son experienced that was just too close for her comfort and her experiences with teaching young girls about self love. The aha moment of this call was it's ok to "agree to disagree" I love hearing perspectives from different entrepreneurs and it was refreshing to see another point of view from it all without judgment. Our caller this week is Mitchell Levy, The AHA Guy at AHAthat and TEDx Speaker who empowers thought leaders to share their genius. He is an accomplished Entrepreneur who has created 20 businesses in Silicon Valley including 4 publishing companies that have published over 800 books.
