The very moment you wake up, what is it that you say to yourself? What do you tell yourself as you begin another shift at work? How do you speak to yourself when you encounter an unexpected problem or challenge? Sometimes we may feel sad, frustrated, lonely, and heartbroken, and we may also have all the reasons to feel that way. The question is, how do we not allow negativity to become an infestation? The first word I associated myself with was optimism. Positive self-talk can teach you to see the possibility instead of the problem.
