Common advice we will hear is that 'everything happens for a reason' and 'everything you're going through is preparing you for what you want' whenever you're going through difficulties. Even I said that a few episodes ago. Those sayings are so true, but we cannot disregard the pain and baggage those difficulties have actually brought onto us even if the process of overcoming them is preparing us for the life we want to have. We cannot disregard the painful parts of your current situation as if we're accepting that pain - as if we deserve that pain because 'everything happens for a reason.' It doesn't mean it doesn't still hurt. You deserve the life you want and you also deserve so incredibly better than the trauma and pain you've dealt with.

It can be easy and simplifying to put all the blame on someone else for the things you've endured. You are completely allowed to be angry at someone for what they did to you, but you also had some power in the situation to keep the pain from continuing to be inflicted onto you. You should also put partial fault on yourself for not doing enough to keep yourself from being in that position where you're hurting. You had some power to put a stop (in most cases). Remember your worth:')

Everything is about the type of person you are and if you're willing to grow in a positive direction when experiencing hardship. Sometimes you can't change a situation you're in, and that forces you to change who you are so that something in your life will be at least a little bit better because of it. Who you are is determined by your habits. Change your habits/what isn't working for you, and do the best you can - day by day. Allow yourself to start over as many times as you need. Forgive yourself for not knowing how to handle something until you knew. I hope you enjoy this heavy, upturning, and motivational episode.

Things are working out for you, whether you can see it or not. There is so much happening in your life behind the scenes that is working in your favor that you don't know about. Everything that you're going through right now was given to you because you are able to handle it, and as you learn to handle it, you're preparing yourself for exactly what you've been hoping for (or something even better). Just because it's not happening right now doesn't mean it never will. Trust that you will receive what you're meant to have. Do the best you can with the knowledge that you do know about yourself & your life, and let life run its course. You're so deserving.

Existing means you will be perceived in many different ways, and in often times, you will not enjoy some of those perceptions of you. Any time you meet a new person a new version of you is created in that persons mind - different than anyone else's. You are not responsible to keep up with all those personas or versions of you that exist in other people's heads that you can't even control, even if you wanted to. Keep your peace by trying to be the best version of who you are and let others do the rest.

As long as you are alive, you have unconditional value as a human being and deserve unconditional love. You don't have to achieve any sort of accomplishment or find a reason to finally decide that you deserve all the best things in the world. You do and so does every single person you meet in your life, so treat yourself and others as such.

Welcome to Live Nights in Autumn Vibes 4🎃!
For the most part, high school is not the place to be if you want to live a genuine, accepting, and/or uplifting life as a teenager. People constantly judge others, seek validation from others, and we are constantly surrounded by people who make us uncomfortable being our true selves. Something that most of us need to remember is that you are not for everybody, and we hurt ourselves every time we try to please everyone we come across. Once we graduate, being liked won't matter whatsoever, so we shouldn't get too caught up in the high school world. Today, we talk about the epic highs and lows of high school.

It is not your job to prove how amazing you are to others. Your mere existence is enoughhh and you inspire people just by being who you are. You inspire people who pretend to not even see you. Your presence is enough for others to get a glimpse of who you are, and you honestly are not for everybody. People will dislike you, and how others react to you existing has everything to do with them.

Welcome to the second recording of the "Live Nights in Autumn Vibes" Fall Series🎃!!
This episode feels VERY MUCH like a facetime call and is super vibey and fun (which is exactly what I wanted this fall series to be like!). We talk about a variety of things and I give random advice from talking about nervousness before occasions, high school spirit week, expressing yourself, something I noticed about masks, and I recap the previous episode. So many random things but so much fun.

The tough love side of self-love is taking accountability for your own toxicity. Because as much as you might try to be the best person you can be to others, sometimes you are unintentionally toxic to some people. Sometimes, you are the villain in someone else's story. However, the only time you are truly being a bad/toxic person is when you choose to not take accountability for yourself and work on it. You're working on it because you want to show up for yourself and others better than you have before.
