Building resilience in social work is an ongoing task.

Why?

Burnout for social workers is real! It's a difficult conversation that you must have with yourself as the social work profession is prone to produce burned out workers.

It's not just about avoiding burnout, or simply managing burnout, it's about preventing burnout and minimising the impact of vicarious trauma. Prioritising self-care in social worker, will help you heal from stress quicker and limited the impact of work-related stress.
