She leads the social media group "Heavy Metal Therapy"  which is a community of metalheads who have improved their well being through music as therapy. Kate is also an actual working psychologist that talks to us about her research, studies, and more on how heavy metal music can save lives.

Frank Schiffman grew up in the East End of Pittsburgh. He graduated from Penn State and went on to build a successful 40 year career in sales and marketing working for mid-size companies and Fortune 500 powerhouses. Through his stories, Frank pulls forward the roots, pathways and lessons learned during his life’s journeys with the hope of encourages others to reach within themselves and share their own adventures.

The Lifts & Riffs boys are BACK & BREAKING BORDERS to the beloved melodic death metal homelands of Finland. We are joined by 17 year old mastermind Eemil Lajoma who supplies growls & riffs to old school death metal worshippers, Cryptic Hatred. In this wholesome conversation, we discuss Finland vs US (in which we discover Schuler knows more about Finland than most people in Finland) in terms of music, horror, and of course, COVID 19. We debate who the essential Finnish metal band is, discuss classic 90's era influences & obscure cuts in the genre that keeps on giving, all while Eemil reminds us that the kids today are alright.
