In the 1980s, Dorothea Puente ran a boarding house in Sacramento, California. Little did neighbors know that this seemingly quiet, grandmotherly woman was harboring a dark secret. She housed and worth with the underserved, underprivileged, and disadvantaged, and those that lived in her home seem to “disappear” on a whim – That is until 7 bodies were exhumed in her backyard, and 2 more, whom knew Puente, were missing.
