A death investigation is underway after the body of a Madison man was pulled from Lake Monona on Wednesday Dane County officials reported.A call came just before 1230 p.m. to the Dane County Sheriffs Office for a report of a body that was found near the shore on the side of Lake Monona.The Madison Police Department and the Madison Fire Department assisted the Sheriffs Office with recovering the body.Officials said the body has been identified as a 56-year-old Madison man. They did not release his name.
