This is what Hormoz Shariat was shouting on the streets of Tehran, Iran in 1979. But in his heart he was thinking, “Not death to America yet because I want to go to school in the US and get a great education!”

Hormoz was born and raised Muslim in Iran. He was devoted to Islam. In 1980 he was given the chance to get his PhD at USC. That’s when he started comparing the Quran with the Bible, he was wrecked by Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and began following him.

After graduating, he was working his dream job in the US, winning Muslims to Jesus when Jesus called Hormoz to devote the rest of his life to reaching Iran with the gospel. He surrendered to that call.

Hormoz founded Iran Alive which is bringing the gospel into Iran 24/7 through satellite TV. Iran has the fastest growing church in the world and Jesus is moving through signs, wonders, miracles, and of course through the power of his word! Get in on what Jesus is doing!
