  • Episode 8 - The Media at Lee Oswald's Shooting

    Send a text

There were 46 members of the media present within the immediate vicinity of Oswald's shooting. Yet many were overlooked by the Dallas Police for their investigation and worse still, photographs and film taken of the scene by some of those present has never seen the light of day.

In this episode, we'll go over some of the forgotten media personnel there that day and discover, in one interesting account, information that may have helped crack the case open back at the time.

  • Episode 7 - Forgotten Witnesses & Unguarded Points of Entry

    Send a text

Alfreadia Riggs... Harold Fuqua... they are just some of the witnesses to the lead up to Lee Oswald's shooting who were completely overlooked by the Dallas Police investigation but had some interesting accounts to share.

And while they were interviewed by the FBI and, later, the Warren Commission, their movements on that morning demonstrated how poorly sealed the Dallas City Hall basement was ahead of Oswald's transfer.

Also, did you know that Tom Howard, Jack Ruby's first attorney after he shot Oswald, was actually present in the basement at the time of the shooting?

In this episode, we'll lay out the geography of the City Hall and its Annex Building to highlight how 'non-secure' both buildings actually were that morning - setting the conditions perfectly for how Jack Ruby would come to shoot Lee Oswald.

  • Episode 6 - Exposing the Threats on Lee Oswald's Life

    Send a text

The alleged threats on Lee Oswald's life, during his last night alive, from a so-called 'committee' who voted to execute him before he made it to the County Jail has also, largely been taken at face value.

But how legitimate were they? When we consider that no reports ever surfaced of any kind of angry mob on the streets of Dallas over the weekend of November 22nd and that they (the threats) barely featured in any of the subsequent investigations.

If they happened, who was behind them and what did they have to gain?

In this episode, I lay out all the evidence regarding the threats phoned into the FBI and Sheriff's Department and the lack of evidence when it comes to the account of Dallas Police Officer Billy Grammer.

  • Episode 4 - Gil Jesus & the Dallas Police in 1963

    Send a text

Gil Jesus has researched extensively on various aspects of President Kennedy's assassination. His work on the lack of evidence against Lee Oswald for the killings of the president and Officer Tippit - plus his unjust treatment at the hand of the Dallas Police - led me to want to discuss it all with him in greater depth.

In this episode, Gil and I chronicle Oswald's time in Dallas police custody, the culture of corruption prevalent in Dallas at the time and how it all made for the perfect conditions for Oswald's murder.

  • Episode 3 - Scott Reid & The Assassination Attempt on General Edwin A. Walker

    Send a text

Scott Reid is a lifelong resident of Glasgow, Scotland and has had a keen interest in the JFK assassination since the mid-1980s. He made his first trip to Dealey Plaza in 1996 and returned in 2013 for the 50th anniversary of the assassination.

In recent years, he began developing his own research and presented at the JFK Lancer Virtual Conference in 2020 and 2021. Scott has also contributed articles for the Kennedys and King website, Garrison magazine and the DPUK Echo.

Scott’s focus on the shooting attempt on General Edwin A. Walker’s life in April ’63 has been extensive.

In this episode, Scott and I unpack the, still unsolved, Walker shooting and how Lee Oswald came to be put forward as a suspect only after his murder in November ’63.

  • Episode 1 - Johnny Cairns & November 22nd

    Send a text

I'm joined by researcher, Johnny Cairns, from Edinburgh, Scotland. His father, Robert Cairns, got him interested in the life and death of JFK. With respect to the JFK assassination, Johnny has focused on the flawed and circumstantial evidence against Lee Harvey Oswald.
Johnny's presented at JFK assassination conferences and Dealey Plaza UK events, written articles and book reviews that have been published online and co-
authored “JFK Case Not Closed” with Dave O'Brien which was published in 2022. He has also appeared as a regular guest on other JFKA podcasts.

In this episode, researcher Johnny and I revisit various aspects of President Kennedy's assassination. Together, we survey Dealey Plaza at the time of the shooting, discuss witnesses and zero in on Lee Oswald's movements across that day in the lead up to his arrest at the Texas Theater in Oak Cliff.

Johnny's book, that he co-authored with Dave O'Brien, is 'JFK Case NOT Closed: Key Evidence Dismissed, Ignored, Altered or Suppressed to Frame Lee Harvey Oswald as the 'Lone' Assassin!' and it can be found online.

  • Introduction

    Send a text

This limited series 'bookcast' is devoted to the shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald. This is an audiobook / podcast which expands on my book - with the same title.

The series will run in the same order as the chapters in my book only I'll be able to go into greater detail in this bookcast.

And the podcast aspect means that I'll be joined by leading researchers to delve deeper into other areas that I only provided general context on in my book.

The aim is to show how worthy the topic of Lee Oswald's murder is as its own field of research.
